THANK YOU SOOOOO Much Blue Jays!!!

Had a bit of baseball withdrawal with the Sox all at home tonight eating popcorn and watching reruns of the Three Stooges... So I decide to watch the Yankers and Jays go at it. I tuned in at the top of the 8th , game tied 1-1. OK, I'll watch this, Yankers just might get beat. For my efforts I got to see A-Rod strike out , the Jays shut the Yankers down for those two innings and in the 9th they manufactured the game winning by playing some good old fashioned baseball.
Yes, Tonight was a GOOD NIGHT!!!
Yankers come to Bean Town 5.5 back.....
Ya got a love it!!!!
GO SOX!!

jmp, sounds like we had similar nights, except I spent mine watching "gordon ramsay's kitchen nightmares" on BBCA.

Glad to see the Blue Jays sack up and win one for us: 5.5 back going into the final series is a good thing.

Tonight is the game I'm most concerned with: Beckett and Schilling will bring their A game this weekend: lets hope Daisuke will bring his early season pitching success with him to Fenway tonight.

kaylee: Thanks for visiting my blog! I do not wish to eat any Yankers either. How bout we throw a BBQ, cook up some Yankers and feed them to their fans?? Works for me!!

ted d: I was watching Ramsays Nightmares too!! Never saw the first show before, the one where the couple lost their restaurant. The second one with the Chef who thinks he is an Italian chef was a repeat for me... Its amazing how many so called Chef are just like him. I was a chef for 10 years. Gave it up so I could see my kids.. A chef I trained with ( I was his Sous Chef ) was like Gordon, but worse..not much swearing but moody as all get out and he would throw scalding hot pans across the kitchen and an occasional knife too when things did not go his way. He was wired way too tight.

The had a feeling the Jays would win last night as the yankers had a 7 game winning streak and the Jays had lost 2 to them so just by the odds the yankers should loose. A-rod had 4 at bats 1 hit and 2 SO's. Hope he has entered the downward curve of his latest streak.

Hey! You have a blog! (Yes, I am just now discovering this.)

I needed the night off to recover from those last two games against the Rays & to mentally prepare for Matsuzaka. =/

I am way excited now that the Yankees lost & we've got a 5.5 game buffer!

Hi Dawn.
Well I was going to lay low with the blog for a while. See if I can keep it up and I also needed a place to vent about the Sox. As it seems my glass is half full half full when it comes to them.
Should have seen me when the 2004 Playoff and WS were on. I was a basket case. Even after the win I was waiting for somthing to go wrong and have it taken away!!!

So I decided to just make it public and "get on wit' it" as the Brits say.

Yes, I am very concerned about dice-k taking the mound. I hope he does not roll craps tonight!!
